Health is about two thirds of Venezuelan insurance premiums. It was 68.3% in 2021 and 64.5% in 2025.

Those five years saw hyperinflation, a currency redenomination and dollarization in practice. None of them changed the shape of the portfolio.

For a C-suite executive, the reading is direct. A sector that did not change its mix under those conditions is not waiting for a product shift. It is waiting for income.

One nuance decides who to sell to. In money, the individual policy rules: it brings 57.3% of health premiums. In people covered, the group policy reaches many more.

The buyer of health coverage is still the employer.
